Annual Conference of the 3R-Network Baden-Württemberg

Dear colleagues, dear PhD candidates and students,

With the funding offensive “Promotion of Activities to Replace, Reduce and Refine (- 3R) Animal Experiments“, the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts (MWK) Baden-Württemberg has been pursuing the goal of establishing a nationwide 3R-Network, which is unique in Germany to date. All major biomedical sites in the country are involved in order to advance scientific research and animal welfare in equal measure and thus actively and sustainably reduce the number of animal experiments in research and academics. In this context, this year’s annual conference of the 3R-Network BW will take place in Tübingen on 12th + 13th May 2022. In addition to exciting keynote lectures, scientific presentations, a young investigator session and a poster presentation, the conference program offers plenty of opportunities for interdisciplinary exchange, constructive discussions and networking activities. In addition, the MWK BW funded scientists of the 3R-Network BW will present their respective project progress and give an insight into their work.

Conference participation is free of charge and we would like to encourage you and especially junior scientists to attend the English-language conference, make contacts and submit abstracts for an oral or poster presentation.
