“Recapitulating complex human biology in vitro: Microphysiological systems and organ-on-chip technology” – with this topic, Peter Loskill’s opened the session “Complex Cell Culture and Organ-on-Chip” at this year’s conference “TOTAL-NANOSAFE: From Molecules to Public Health” at the INL International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory in Braga, Portugal, on November 11th. Together with other renowned experts, various areas of nanosafety were discussed and interdisciplinary exchange was promoted, so that new ideas could be exchanged and new collaborations initiated.
