„Advancing Non-Animal Testing for Endovascular Devices: Next-Generation Vascular Models at the Medical & Engineering Technologies Centre“

The Medical & Engineering Technologies (MET) Centre at ATU Galway has extensive experience supporting MedTech companies in the development and validation of innovative medical devices. In recent years, significant progress has been made in the endovascular field through the creation of next-generation, clinically relevant vascular models.

This webinar will explore the design and production of bespoke in-vitro test systems that simulate human anatomy and physiology to demonstrate the safety and efficacy of endovascular devices. Through three industry case studies, we will highlight how these advanced models are enhancing preclinical evaluation while promoting the replacement of animal models, supporting the principles of the 3Rs in medical technology research and development.
