On March 24, 2026, the 3R centers of the 3R Network Baden-Württemberg came together at the #THE3RLÄND conference in Tübingen to discuss current research, joint strategies, and future collaborations for implementing the 3R principles. Together with representatives of the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts Baden-Württemberg, ongoing research projects were discussed, insights from the individual centers were shared, and new approaches were developed to strengthen the visibility and outreach of the 3R principles.
The meeting brought together colleagues from the following institutions:

Through the close networking of expertise across these centers, the 3R Network Baden-Württemberg strengthens the development of innovative, animal-free research methods and actively promotes the implementation of the 3R principles—Replacement, Reduction, and Refinement—in biomedical research.
The meeting provided a valuable platform for exchanging new ideas and initiating future collaborations within the network.
