The 3R-Center Tübingen is expanding, and we are excited to welcome three new colleagues to our team. As part of the European STEP4NAMs project, they bring fresh perspectives and valuable expertise to strengthen our work in advancing Organ-on-Chip technologies and innovative training approaches.

Dr. Hanna Vuorenpää specializes in Organ-on-Chip and Body-on-Chip technologies. Within the STEP4NAMs project, she leads a multicenter pilot study on the functional validation of Organ-on-Chip models. Her research focuses on model stability, dose-response relationships, and predictive accuracy – key aspects for ensuring quality and practical application of these advanced test systems.

Dr. Pauline Jeckel brings extensive experience in science communication, public relations, and marketing. At the 3R-Center, she will focus on training and stakeholder engagement to foster knowledge transfer and increase the visibility of Organ-on-Chip systems. Within STEP4NAMs, she will primarily drive the training and education program.

Marlene Fritsch has specialized in biomaterials and their interaction with the immune system during her master’s research. In the STEP4NAMs project, she contributes to the training program, helping to develop relevant and practice-oriented content.

We are delighted to welcome Hanna, Pauline, and Marlene to the team and look forward to new collaborations, perspectives, and innovations at the 3R-Center Tübingen.
