Kids University 2026

At the 2026 Kids University hosted by the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen, the 3R-Center Tübingen and the MicroOrganoLab once again opened their doors as research labs for young explorers. Equipped with lab coats, safety goggles, and plenty of curiosity, the children explored how mini organs are grown outside the body and how they help us better understand the human body and diseases.

Exploring the World of Mini Organs

At various hands-on stations, the young aspiring researchers went on their own journey of discovery. They learned about the functions of our organs, supplied mini-organs in the Organ-on-Chip system with essential nutrients and observed the tiny organs under a microscope.

We would like to express our gratitude to all the young researchers for their fascinating questions, boundless energy and enthusiasm. And of course, thank you to our team, who made this special day possible!

There is nothing better than exploring science with children and seeing how curiosity can lead to genuine aha moments.
