This year, the Symposium of the Interdisziplinary Group for Laboratory and Floy Cytometry (IGLD) is being organized in collaboration with the German Stem Cell Network (GSCN), the Society for Extracellular Vesicles (GSEV), the German Society for Immunogenetics (DGI), the MTLA Association (DVTA), and the Section Immunohematology and Immungenetics of the German Society for Transfusion Medicine and Immunhematology (DGTI). The two-day symposium provides a unique interdisciplinary platform covering a wide range of topics, ranging from laboratory medicine, flow cytometry, and stem cell research to extracellular vesicle research and innovative developments in the field of 3Rs.

On March 6, 2025, Prof. Peter Loskill will present his latest work on immune-competent Cancer-on-Chip models in the IGLD-2: Cell Therapy session. Additionally, the 3R Network Baden-Württemberg will have its own booth at the accompanying industry exhibition. There, visitors can explore a range of innovations, including animal-free antibodies and new developments in animal-free cell culture, such as alternatives to fetal calf serum and synthetic peptide hydrogels.
In addition to the free symposium, hands-on workshops will be offered on Saturday.
